Managed Auth Vendors
Add a protected collection layer alongside your mobile authentication SDK. Cipherstep helps your service assess client integrity around enrollment, recovery, and sign-in, giving customers more context for access decisions without asking your team to maintain all the device-security research.
Runtime integrity around authentication
A customer can authenticate through a manipulated app. Hooked client checks or altered device telemetry can also give an authentication service misleading context. Protect the environment supplying those observations as well as the protocol validating the credential.
Use supported device and runtime findings at enrollment, recovery, sign-in, or a sensitive step-up. Cipherstep can identify signs of hooking, instrumentation, and OS modification; RASP can interrupt supported attacks inside the host app.
Integration and security research
Carry a fresh, opaque attestation artifact with the protected request and have the backend submit it for analysis. Pair the findings with your authentication result so the customer can apply its access policy. A sealed artifact protects Cipherstep’s observations; it does not automatically protect every value collected by your SDK.
Let Cipherstep maintain the specialist detection work while your team develops authentication, recovery, and customer integrations. Device integrity supplements server-side credential validation and protocol safeguards. It does not replace MFA, make a weak factor phishing-resistant, or invalidate a sound cryptographic proof.
